A Night With My Nephews!!

I got to watch Tayson and Talon a couple nights ago while Mike and Jess went to a concert. I love watching them, they bring more joy to our home! Tayson, Tylar and Braxton can sometimes get out of control but I know they are just so excited to play together and of course, that's what kids do! Talon on the other hand, is just so precious. He requires a lot of attention but I'm use to it cause Tylar was the same way as a baby and I love it anyway! He loves to cuddle too; we chilled on the couch after I put the kids down. Talon just laid on my stomach cuddling with me; he would lift his head up every couple minutes (as if he was checking on me) and give me a big smile; it was so cute and funny! I love watching him; seriously could it get any better? It's like having my own baby but without all the hard work; no waking up in the middle of the night, when he throws a fit I can just give him back to Jess! It's perfect! Lol!! It was way fun though and great memories to look back on. I feel lucky to be their only Aunt living nearby cause I'm able to spend time with them and watch them grow!!
Oh also, Jess and I are flying together to Cali tomorrow for my cousin's wedding and my entire family will be there; I am sad to leave my babies but it will be good quality time to have with their Daddy; I am SOOOOO excited though; it's been almost 6 years since I've been on a real vacation; too long, I know! So of course i will have a bunch a pics to post when I get back!

Our Ward Halloween Trunk or Treat

Halloween night with the Daddys!
Tylar the "Fairy Princess"

Braxton the lil "Good Devil"

Trunk or Treating at our ward Halloween party; they had wagon rides, lots of yummy food and cookies and a lot of candy to be given out! The kids had so much fun! Braxton has done this before; he's so polite that when he would go up to a trunk, he would stand back to let the other kids go first; where Tylar on the other hand would just go right up to each person handing out the candy and get in there ahead of the crowd, she knew she was getting more candy and didn't waste any time, she owned it! It was so cute to watch because this is the first year she really understood what was going on. They were both good with saying "trick or treat" and "thank you," we also realized when we got there, that it wasn't a good idea to have Braxton be a devil at a church party, Lol! So we had him take the mask off when we got there, but I'm sure they will both have fun wearing a different costume on Halloween with Daddy since I won't be in town. I am going to my cousin's wedding in California which I'm looking forward to seeing all my family! So I'm glad I got to do this with the kids, since it was my Halloween night with them.

Checking out all the candy they got!

Our Pumpkin Patch Adventure!

I took the kids to the pumpkin patch today. They both picked out their own pumpkins and I picked one for Nate and I. They pulled around a wagon to put their pumpkins in and then I gave them a ride in it. They also had a bean bag toss game that the kids loved!

When we got home, we painted them; I discovered nail polish is easier and less messier than paint! We gave them faces and hair, it was so fun!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Tylar had picked a "winged" pumpkin that looks like a Tulip, a total girlie pumpkin! She painted glitter on it and put a bow in it's hair! Braxton picked one a little bigger then hers and kept coating on tons of paint on the stem, he was concentrating on it so hard too, it was too cute! The pumpkin I painted, has one side with a boy face and the other side, a girl face, to represent that it's mine and Nate's pumpkin, lol! We had a blast with the whole pumpkin experience today and it was a perfect day too cause it was cooler today with a nice breeze; it felt like Fall weather finally! I love doing things like this with the kids, the best part is when I see the smiles on their faces!

I'm So Proud Of Braxton!!

I am so proud of my little Braxton! At school, his teacher put a fun rewarding project together for the kids. She has 2 cute bears that the kids can earn if they are good; one of them is a bear you earn if your good that particular day and the other one to earn is if you've been good all week. Braxton earned "Happy Bear" the more rewarding bear, by listening, behaving and paying attention to is teacher ALL week! So I've been telling him to make me proud and earn "Happy Bear" ever since the teacher started this new project. I was so happy when he brought it home and knew he was the best behaved kid in his entire class for a week!!! So the teacher asks whoever takes home the bear, to take pictures of what you did with "happy Bear", so it can be posted and shown off in his classroom! Braxton scored at perfect timing too cause he's had it for a whole week now for Fall break! Great job Braxton, I love you and am soooo proud!!!!!!!

Good Times

Mike took Nate to the Cardinals game last Sunday! It was so awesome of him to do that; I think that's the most fun he's had in a while, he was SO excited and kept goin on about it when he got home. I just wish they would have taken more pics and of both of them at the game but I guess they aren't like us girls, where we take them all the time! (or maybe it's just me!? Lol!) Well I'm so glad they had a blast! A couple weeks ago I took Tylar to our community pool for the first time; Nate was workin and Braxton was at school, so I decided to make it a girls day, it was so fun, it's set up so nice, it has the biggest kiddie pool I've ever seen! We played tag forever and other fun games! Tylar even laid out with me for a little while, chillin with my sunglasses on, it was too freakin cute; she always copying her Mama, I love that girl!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We went over to Mike and Jessica's house the other night. Ahmad and Alicia were there also. It was so funny, most of the night, us girls were formed in our own little circle in one room and the guys in theirs. We listened to music, played with the kids and I gave Jess and Alicia a good laugh as I attempted some "Becky style Krumping!" It was fun, I don't mind making an ass out of myself if I can give someone a good laugh! Anyway we all finally grouped up and played a fun card game Jess taught us and I have to take pride in saying "I won!!" because I usually don't! It was so much fun, I needed to get out of the dang house and I'm so glad I did, it was great but I always get tired early, I hate it; it makes me feel old! Anyway thanks again Mike & Jess and I look forward to our next game night! Oh by the way jess, LOVED the banana bread!!!!!

Tylar and I had fun making these cupcakes and most of all she loved the little cake bear we made for Tayson. she's so excited for him to see it!
