Frisbee Golf

Nate, Becky, John, Braxton and Tylar

This was the first time the kids and I went. We loved it, it was really fun but definately takes a toll on you and not to mention, it was very hot today. I think I did okay for my first time; I was descent with my accuracy but needed more distance on my throws. Nate really impressed me; I have never seen him play before but him and Mike go all the time. I am excited to go again and hopefully get really good at it so I can give my honey a run for his money! Lol!

Fun In The Sun

Jessica, John, Nate, the kids and I went to the pool yesterday; it's been so nice and hot here lately, I love it!

We also took the kids to the park. Nate and John played Frisbee Golf which is right next to the park, then they came over and hun out watching the kids have a blast. We watched my Nephews Tayson and Talon while Jessica and Mike went and got their engagement pictures taken. Talon loved the swing, he was laughing the entire time, it was way too cute!

The kids climbing in the spider web; I loved watching them do this, they were all competing with each other on who could climb the highest. They were pretending to be Spiders too!

Jess and I went to our Cousin Chad's wifes baby shower last Sunday. They had yummy food, fun games and a lot of fun people! They are waiting until she delivers to find out the sex of the baby, so it will be a fun surprise for them! I think she has everything she needs now because she got hooked up on the gifts, which they really needed since it's their first child. I am so excited for them. They will both make great parents!!! The boppy covers in the middle picture were from my Aunty Cindy; she made them, she is so talented in that area!
Gifts and more gifts!

My Brother Nlaw John flew in last Sunday. He is now working for the same company as Nate, which is Northstar, selling home security systems. So he came to train for the first time. All the guys went to California to sell this week and left Tuesday morning but before they left, we got to enjoy each others company and hang out! While Nate went to his managers meeting Monday morning, John, the kids and I went to the park for a while and also played a game of Tennis which by the way John and Braxton kicked my butt and I lost but it was fun! Then later that day, we all went to hang out by the pool, it was a nice, hot day and lots of fun!
I took the kids to the Dentist for a cleaning and check up; it was Tylar's first visit to the Dentist. The place was so kid friendly and neat. It had arcade games, books and toys in the waiting room! We waited for quite some time so it was a good thing the place was set up nice with all the activities for the kids; it definately kept them busy. They both got their x rays done and then went into each of their chairs that were just a few feet from each other. I stayed back there with them the entire time; it was so cute to see. Tylar started getting a little impatient and Braxton just layed there watching t.v. like a good boy! Come to find out Tylar has 3 cavities and Braxton one. You can't even tell by looking in their mouths, only on the  x rays, so I was so glad  I got them in when I did before it got too bad! They have their appointments Monday morning to get it all taken care of. On the way out, they bothed recieved a couple stickers, a balloon and each their own bag filled with toys, tootbrushs, toothpaste, floss and lots more. I don't think I will ever have a problem taking them to see the Dentist, especially this particular one!
Last night the kids and I stayed the night at Jessica's to plan for our bake stand. Her community was holding a garage sale, so Jess and I figured we have one of our own and a snack stand for the kids. We made Cupcakes and 3 different kinds of Cookies and Pink Lemonade. This morning we woke up at 6:30 and went at it. The bake sale was a success, thanks to the kids! I know that is what attracted everyone and then Braxton was saying things of course like his Dad, a natural born Salesman! Lol!! We all had a blast!!

CA Trip to Melissa's

I flew out to my sister Melissa's new place in Laguna Niguel California a couple weeks ago to help her unpack and set up her house. It was so gorgeous there! She lives just a couple miles from the ocean and there are green hills like a little valley surrounding her! When I arrived, we went and ate at Ihop, then wnet and saw her new pad and after that we went to Strands Beach and found a bunch of shells for Braxton and Tylar. That night she served us a yummy roast beef meal (my favorite!) and salad that she cooked and her boyfriend Chris who she moved there with; his parents came over for dinner and hung out for a bit. They were really down to earth and super cool!

Melissa got us all tickets to go Whale Watching. It was so so beautiful and an unforgettable experience! I have never done anything like that before, so it was really amazing! Unfortunatley we didn't see any Whales but better yet, we saw so many Dolphins! They would come up right next to our boat and swim side by side with us, it was the coolest thing ever to see wild Dolphins swim with us! We also saw Sea Lions and plenty of different Birds. I had so much fun! Thanks again Melissa and Chris! I will never forget that!
Here's some pictures I got of the Dolphins; that's how close they were to us! Below I captured a shot of a Dolphin many feet in the air, it was so cool!!

The three of us cruisin and king of the world!
We went to Laguna Beach my last night there. The kids were so cute to hang out wit,. we watched the Sunset, it was so peaceful and beautiful!

We ended the night relaxing in their hot tub. it was great!
I stayed for four days but it flew by pretty fast. I was sad to leave my little sis but excited to get back home to my kiddies! Jess and Mike watched them the entire time, Jess got Braxton to School and back. made all his lunches and so much more! She did such a great job! They also took all the kids to Mike's Baseball game one night. Braxton really got a kick out of that! They took them out to dinner another night, I know the kids must have loved that! Thanks so very much Mike and Jess! I TRULY appreciate it!!!!
Last night we had FHE. I prepared the lesson but Nate gave it for me. it was so cute! We sang a bunch of songs and made cookies, then we messed around and took silly pictures together, we thought we'd show our sense of humor and silliness to everyone, it was tons of fun!!
