My 30th Birthday!!

I had a great 30th Birthday. Jess treated me to this place called "Pacific" for lunch; it was an all you can eat sushi and seafood buffet, it was so good and most of it was fresh. A few friends joined us; Leah, Kim and Taryn. Thanks again for coming, it meant a lot! Jess also took me shopping and treated me to the state fair and concert last week. Thank you SO much Jess for all that you did and for making my birthday special! A lot of people called and wished me a Happy Birthday and also on facebook. My Mom sent me some Birthday money and a cute home made card, thanks Mom! My neighbor Caroline dropped off a bag for me filled with awesome scrapbooking paper and supplies! Thanks again Care, that was sweet and thoughtful of you and I loved it! Nate took care of the kids all day, cooked and cleaned! Thanks babe! When I got home from hanging out with Jessica; Nate and the kids had made cupcakes for me. It was so cute of them to do. The kids also drew pictures for me! We watched the movie "The Ugly Truth" as we snacked on cupcakes, rootbeer floats and pizza, it was so fun! Thanks again to everyone!!shoppin with Jess

My Boy Is Getting So Big!!

Braxton's bottom tooth has been loose for a couple weeks now. Nate pulled on it the other night and saw that it was so ready to come out. Braxton was freaking out cause he didn't want Nate to pull it out but it was basically just dangling there. Nate told him he was just gonna check it again and yanked it right out! Poor little guy started crying and was angry at Nate but once the pain left and he got to see it in the mirror; he was happy Nate pulled it out. He was so proud, walking around the house, feeling like a big boy and excited for the tooth fairy to come that night and of course, he wanted to go to bed earlier. He proudly put it under his pillow and woke up to money under there. He told me he dreamt about the tooth fairy and was so excited that she took his tooth. He said "She took my tooth cause she liked it and it wasn't rotten!" Lol, the things kids say, it was funny and cute! So he was anxious to get to school that morning to show it off! His teacher gave him a tooth chart to keep, it was too cute! My little boy is growing up too fast but fun, cute moments to look forward to for every age to come!

San Francisco Trip

Jess and I got to travel together to San Francisco for my cousin's wedding. It was the best time I've had in a while! We left Friday morning and came back Sunday night. The kids stayed with daddy and Talon came with which was awesome cause we got benefits every where we went and was also nice to have him with us since I didn't have my kids and I missed them tons!!!! (I was a scarrdy cat on the plane too but I made it!)

After we arrived, we met up with my sister Missy and my brother Craig. We went by the ocean, the Golden Gate Bridge, saw the Alcatraz, and went on the famous crooked, steepest street!

We went out to dinner that night with the whole family. We celebrated Craig's birthday!

All us sisters stayed in the same hotel room! It was soooooooo fun, staying up late chatting and taking pictures! Alie also brought her baby boy Reece, so we had the two little guys keeping us company! Missy and I shared a bed; poor girl! I guess I grind my teeth way bad while I'm sleeping! She gave me so much crap about it and how it kept waking her up! I knew I did it once in a while but not like that! It grossed me out to know that and how bad that is on my teeth but I couldn't stop laughing about it either when she was telling me! I guess I better start looking into those night guards! Lol!!

Alie had a lot of people's hair to color and cut and Kelly's (the bride) too!! I was in charge of the flower arrangements, including Kelly's bouquet, the Mother's bouquets, the men's boutonnieres! Jess helped with setting up the tables but I didn't get a picture cause I was so pressed for time getting those darn flowers finished; the photographer was ready to take pics of Kelly with her bouquet, it was so stressful but it turned out good, I think! Lol!

I wish I had recorded their ceremony! I can't tell you enough, that this was the most entertaining ceremony that I have ever witnessed!! Soooooooooo funny! There were parts that were romantic but over all, funny! Apollo kept busting out jokes. If you guys all knew him, you would say "that's so Apollo!" Even Ingrid, who married them was being funny. It's unexplainable, you would have had to have been there!

Their reception was a Masquerade Ball since it was on Halloween but not too many people wore the masks that they supplied. I sure did! It's not something you get to do everyday!

This was the dessert room; they had cream puffs, variety cheesecake, cake, fruits with a chocolate fondue waterfall, and much more, this was my favorite part!!

I had a yummy steak, salad and asparagus and my plate full of sweets!

This was the beautiful set up they had at the Kohl Mansion. We did family pictures first, then they had a little cocktail party with awesome appetizers that the waiters would serve on silver platters, then the ceremony, then the masquerade ball with dinner and dessert.

I know, I know, it looks like Jess and I planned out our outfits cause they look so much a like but I swear we didn't! LOL! We just have the same taste! Funny huh!

On our way home and I was so excited to see Nate and the kids!!
