THANKSGIVING DAY

This year we had Thanksgiving with Nate's
family. We went to Niesha and Jeremy's house
and Jeremy's family joined us too! It was so neatly
set up; my mother nlaw Debbie and sister nlaw Niesha
had set up everything the night before and then slaved
away all day. We went over about 1:30; the guys played
cards and hung out and the ladies finished up with all the
cooking while the kids played and enjoyed each others
company. We ate dinner which included, Turkey of course,
yams (my favorite), homemade cranberry sauce, mashed
potatoes and gravy, a great cabbage dish, jello, green bean
casserole (which i made), rolls, stuffing, and a few other
small appetizers. Then we had pumpkin pie, lemon pie,
bannana cream pie and a crumbled pumpkin dessert, it
was all so great! Debbie is an incredible cook and i always
am learning new things from her! We ended up leaving at
about 10 p.m. it was so much fun!!!!

Putting Up The Christmas Tree

The kids helped me with the bows for our tree; we had fun all putting the tree up listening to christmas music and eating peanut brittle. The kids were so good at helping me with it all. Of course i had to help tylar with
the ornaments so she wouldn't brake any (and didn't)
but Braxton did it all by himself and did a great job!
I still want to add a few things to the tree but it felt
so good to get it up, it brings such a warm home feeling
and thats why i love christmas so much!!
