July 4TH 2011 & Soap Making

This year for July 4Th, we took it easy and vegged out at home and watched movies. The kids did poppers off the patio and we saw a few fireworks in the shy, that the show downtown put on. We avoided downtown due to the fact that the crime here is extremely bad, especially at night, so we had our own fun at home!
We went back to the park behind our apts and fed the ducks, fish and turtles.

I held a soap making class a couple days ago. We made berries and herbal soaps. It was really fun and I decided I want to make and sell bath and body products in my Etsy shop along with my jewelry.

Montgomery Alabama

From Fayetville Arkansas to Montgomery Alabama, was a 10 hour drive, though most of it flew by. We played car games and trivia; the kids were so good too!

All of us girls try to get together as much as we can; this was our second get together in Montgomery. We had a potluck and played games. (Left to right) Beth, Tinley, Jessica, Christine and I.

The picture below is of the kids and Erica, who I just met. She majored in Dance and I was quite impressed when I watched a couple of her dances on "dancing with the stars"; she and her dance team performed on there as special guests. She is amazing!
