Christmas 2010

For Christmas Eve, we hung out at my sister Allison's house and had a nice big meal. That day we took the kids to go see Santa and they played games and made a lost to Santa. They had a blast! As soon as Nate was off work, we headed home. The kids fell asleep on the way. Nate and I set out all the gifts under the tree. Christmas morning they were up at 5:00 yelling "Santa came!" We told them to go back to sleep for a Little bit. So we all got back up at 7 and Tylar never went back to sleep. She was playing nice and quietly in her room with her barbies; it was so cute! The kids ran to the tree and started making the piles for each person. They took turns watching each other open gifts. It was really a great Christmas; the joy and excitement in my kids faces makes everything worth it and is just so rewarding!

 Snowball fight!

We made gingerbread houses a couple days after Thanksgiving.

The finished product!
We also each made a Christmas ornament out of light bulbs with our names and year. I want to make this our little tradition every year. We all had fun and they came out cute!
My Sister Allison and her boys with Santa.
Santa baby!
Waking up and dividing the piles.
We also do a tradition of Christmas Jammie's each year. We usually open those Christmas Eve but since the kids fell asleep in the car, we had them open them first so they could wear them.

Their darling gifts from Grandma Wendy and Grandpa Scott. They loved them! Thank you again!
