My Birthday

Wow i'm now 29 years old; it's wierd to think it's my last

year of ever being in my twenties again! I definatley don't

feel my age and i think i don't look it, not yet anyway. It was

a fun day though. My sister Melissa actually came on Wed.

to take me out and celebrate; she took me to Buckle and got

me the cutest pair of jeans, then she took the kids and i out to

Iggys to eat. Then she went back to Vegas; it was so nice of her

to drive down just for the couple of hours; that showed me how

much she truly cares and how bad she wanted to treat me to a

fun night! So on my birthday, my sister nlaw Tiff left me a gift on

my doorstep, some stuff from bath & body and two movies,

It was so sweet of her!! I love girly stuff like that! I wore my new

jeans that Missy got me.Then went & got some more of my

bare minerals make up at the salon that my mom paid for

over the phone and she sent me some money with a

card, she's so good to me! Then after that the kids and i grabbed

some lunch and took it to the park.

After that i went to the nail salon and got my toes painted; the

kids were better than i thought they would be; Braxton made a

friend with the little vietmanese boy there (he makes friends

everywhere we go!) and Tylar sat on the chair next to me watching

the guy do my toes and she kept asking for hers to be done.(I told her

later on, but i'm actually doing them today, shes such a girly girl!) Then

we went to visit Nate at work and see my mother nlaw Debbie.

The kids were so excited to see her like always; Debbie gave me

this cute snowman decoration for our house since Christmas is

soon and the sweetest card! After that we met up with one of my

girlfriends at Samurai 21 and she treated the kids and i to sushi, it

was so yummy! Then we went to Kohls, i treated myself to a couple

things there, girly stuff of course! the kids were out of control gettin into

everything, running around and not listening well; I knew we had to

leave and to just get them home; they didn't nap all day, i knew

they would just pass out immediatley. So we left and went home;

Nate was finally off work; so he took over with the kids; got them ready

for bed and of course they passed out quick! Then he helped me pick up

the house. He got the cutest loving card for me; just what he said in the card

was the best gift ever! I'm so blessed to have a man like him in my life and

as my husband! What a cutie pie! So we hung out for the rest of the night

and watched a movie and did what lovers do! Lol! It was a great day; even

though i had my kids all day and could have used a break; it was still nice to

treat myself to my needs and wants for a change, what person doesn't

want and need that, everyone does! I'm always attending to my husbands

and childrens needs and wants,house work and everything else (which i

wouldn't change for the world!) but it's nice to get the things YOU want and

do the things you want to do; i guess thats the only good things about a birthday

besides that, your just getting older!! but it still was nice to have my kiddies

around or else i probably would have been alone the majority of the day!
