My little ZOMBIE girl! Tylar was actually planning on being a butterfly this year but as soon as she saw me making Braxton's costume, she got so excited about it and wanted to be a zombie; so I made her costume last minute but it turned out alright. She loved it and that's what matters!

Braxton dressed as a Zombie but of course he wanted to wear a mask! He was very excited about his costume as well!

Every year here in Mound City, the kids get together in the day and circle around to all the businesses to get candy. It was really fun!

Tylar was scaring people when they opened the door, it was hilarious! The kids were so good with their manners; instead of just saying saying thank you, I told them to say "Thank you so much!" I was impressed with them since they remembered at every door! I was so proud of them!

We drove around in my Mom's truck; the kids would hop out and run to a few doors then got back in. It was nice to do it this way cause it made it easier to hit more doors all around town. It brought back some childhood memories!!

Crafting Ideas

Bathroom Wall Hanging: 1 square piece of ceramic tile, just cut out letters from a magazine for your saying, glue it on tile with crafters glue, then apply a thin layer of modpodge, let dry, apply one more thin layer, let dry and apply your wall hanging fixtures to the back and hang it up! The knobs I have in the center were glued on with super glue, I had this lying around my house as a decor, so get creative! Fun, easy and cheap to make!!

I bought this basket from the dollar store to organize all my ribbon. Just set the spools in it and pull the ribbon through the holes. For my mini spools, I used wire across the top.

Wall Hanging For Your Kids Art Pieces

I used some scrap wood, just a long piece. Any size will do. I had my kids cut out letters and words from magazines, just use any crafting glue and layer the pieces over eacother until the stick is all cvered. Apply a thin layer of mod podge, let dry. Glue buttons with glue gun onto clothing pins and then glue the pins along the wood. Then apply the wall hanging fixtures to the back and hang up!

You can go for whatever look you want, get creative but I was going for the vintage look that i'm in love with!!

Halloween festival & My Sister's Wedding

Tylar's preschool held a Halloween festival a couple nights ago, it was awesome! They provided everything! Cotton candy (my favorite!), pumpkin pie, hot chocolate, tons of candy, rides, face painting, bounce houses and more!

They went through that bounce obstacle so many ties, especially Braxton!

Summer In Alabama

I think broke my record of going this long without posting! I have a lot of pictures that need to be Post from when we were in Montgomery Alabama. I have so many, I didn't post them all and I also didn't keep the in exact order; there are just too many! Glad to be catching up though!

We wen the a river there and saw a warning sign for alligators; I was freaked out but we never saw any. We went cliff jumping about 30 feet high; Braxton jumped off several times, I was so proud of him! He also was swinging off the rope they had in a tree; even I was too scared to do it but I did cliff jump. It was so fun! The following night on the news was a story about the exact river we were at about the most recorded alligator sightings ever! The biggest one seen is 11 feet long! Nate and I couldn't believe what we were hearing, we were just there! We knew we wouldn't be going back there!!

We went to "Nancy's" Italian Ice place a few times, we loved that place!!!!!!

July 4TH 2011 & Soap Making

This year for July 4Th, we took it easy and vegged out at home and watched movies. The kids did poppers off the patio and we saw a few fireworks in the shy, that the show downtown put on. We avoided downtown due to the fact that the crime here is extremely bad, especially at night, so we had our own fun at home!
We went back to the park behind our apts and fed the ducks, fish and turtles.

I held a soap making class a couple days ago. We made berries and herbal soaps. It was really fun and I decided I want to make and sell bath and body products in my Etsy shop along with my jewelry.

Montgomery Alabama

From Fayetville Arkansas to Montgomery Alabama, was a 10 hour drive, though most of it flew by. We played car games and trivia; the kids were so good too!

Sisters & Mother Trip June 2011

Jess and I drove to Kansas from Arkansas to visit with my Mom, my Sister Alie and my Sister Melissa, who flew in from Michigan. We all get together at least once a year and I always look forward to it!! The picture below was at my Mom and Scott's Business. We hung out there for a day; the kids had a blast in the ice cream and fudge shop, of course my Mom spoiled them with treats galore like Grandma's do best! The kids also were catching frogs and playing, they were in heaven!

One of the nights, my Mom told stories to all the kids and roasted smores over the fire pit!

Another fun night by the fire pit, except this night, the wind was out of control! The ashes were flying at us and landing on us! It was a good laugh!

Our shopping day at Burlington! Of course always fun but when you have your 3 Sisters with you and your Mom, it's even 100 times more fun!

I did say goofy right!? Lol!

One night we had this lady that Alie knows, come over and give us complimentary facials, it was a blast!!!! The top left pic is Jess and Missy with lip treatment on, that's why their lips look so funny!!

My Mom did a rewards point chart with the kids, so for each time they were well behaved, they earned a point; each point counted for a dollar. The picture below is of all the kids going crazy filling their baskets at the dollar store.

One day the neighborhood put on a BBQ with games, rides and face painting!

We ended up staying for a week, great memories I will never forget! I love you Mom and my Beautiful Sisters! I miss you all so much!On our way back, we had to drive through Joplin. We decided to go drive through the town to see what the tornado had done. Can I just say that these pictures don't even do justice! I have never seen anything like it in my life! It was tore down for miles! It felt like a dream and also reminded us of the movie "I am Legend" with Will Smith. It was so sad, words can't even describe it. It is so different to be there in person versus seeing pictures. Tree trunks were ripped completely out of the ground, piles of wood and brick everywhere, smashed cars, toys, furniture, you name it, it was scattered everywhere and there was no green grass or trees with leafs. We saw the hospital, a school and a lot of residential just shredded. It really was an eye opener and just makes you appreciate all you have even more! My heart goes out to them all. Please keep them in your prayers!

Before we left for the Summer; I was working at my Mom and Scott's place. Tylar would come with me while Braxton was in school. She LOVED going there! My Mom taught her how to plant which she did everyday! I snapped a few shots of her in the moment, so dang cute!

For Nate's 30Th Birthday, we went downtown Little Rock and went to I hop for breakfast, a fish fry restaurant for lunch, took the kids on some rides and a park and went out to dinner at a Mexican restaurant later on, then went back home and had cake and watched movies. It was a super fun day!!!

My Sister Jessica also treated Braxton and Tylar to Chuck e Cheese for their Birthdays as soon as we got to Arkansas. Of course the kids were in heaven there and couldn't get enough!

Braxton's 7Th Birthday. We gave him a lot of clothes which he needed for Summer since he's growing so tall! We went to his Grandma Wendy's and Grandpa Scott's place for a Birthday dinner. My Mom made them big banana splits and gave him birthday cash. My Mom and I also made frog cupcakes for his classmates, which they all loved! When we got to Arkansas by Nate; he took Braxton shoe shopping and got these Nike shoes Braxton was so proud of! He jumps around non stop when he wears them, thinking he's just like spider man with his new shoes! It's so funny!

Our second adventure to the homeless- Beautician on a mission experience

Easter 2011

For Easter, we went to my Sister, Allison's house and my Mom & Scott also came over. Saturday night we colored eggs and Easter morning we went to church and they had a cute little Egg Hunt there for the kids with games too! After church, the kids had to hunt for each of their baskets outside. (A family tradition that my parents did for us.) We also hid some eggs too along with the baskets. The kids kept saying "This is the best day ever!" It was so cute to see how excited they all were. They loved it all! (Below-Our little stud all ready and excited for Easter Sunday!)

Beautician On A Mission

My oldest Sister Allison was inspired months ago along with my Mother and Scott's help to put together an organization to help the homeless in Kansas City. It's so amazing to watch it finally come to life. My Sister started this by providing hair cuts to the homeless. They named it "Beautician On A Mission". They were inspired to put together back packs for them, filled with snacks, food, water, hygiene products, socks, underwear, sweaters, t shirts, shoes and so on. Thank you to Borders, who provided around 50 back packs and everyone else who helped donate some items and to the Church for all the bibles. They also created a website for "Beautician On A Mission" I attached the link to that website so you can all see what great things they are doing! I am so proud of my Sister and to everyone who has helped made this possible.

So I wanted to share my experience with you all. The first back pack mission was this last Sunday, after church Allison contacted the homeless shelter and we headed down town to the shelter. We had 50 back packs we handed out, along with the bibles and clothing. They were all overly excited! My Mom was talking to a lot of them and there were a few men who came up to her to ask for a prayer; it was so peaceful and humbling. Scott helped with handing out all the clothing and gave prayers. Leah, Alie's friend and Aaron helped pass out the back packs and bibles and joined in on the prayers and I was the camera girl of course! Lol, I couldn't miss those awesome moments but I did hand out a few bibles and back packs and talked with a few people while they shared their stories. I had no idea what to expect going there. It was so different then what I assumed, It was one of the most humbling, awesome experiences of my life!!!! I look forward to the next one and want to help out more! These people were the most grateful people ever! I remember looking over at a couple of them to watch them open their back packs; I was curious to see what they thought of it. One guy pulled out the cup of ramen noodles and screamed "There's even ramen noodles!!!!!" It really brings a tear to your eye to witness something like that; someone so grateful and thankful for what they have! These people were really opening up, sharing their stories, asking for prayer, weeping, asking for pictures! I can't even begin to tell you how awesome it was and how awesome these people were. It really makes you think twice and opens your eyes to really be more thankful, grateful and appreciative for the things you do have in life. As I said, I can't wait for the next one to bring back packs for those who didn't get one. They have so many more back packs to provide and would be so thankful to anyone that can help in any way possible. My New Handcrafted Jewelry

This is where I'm selling my items; at my Mother's business; we turned this room into a boutique; we are super excited about it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Tylar made this matching bracelet and necklace with me; her first one. She put each bead on the headpins and eyelets which by the way, she knows what each piece is called; it's so dang cute and she did a great job! I'm so proud of her!!

I made this wooden letter for Tylar's room; she kept telling me it's so pretty, so I take it she loves it!

All my latest creations. It's so frustrating taking these pictures because for some reason; I have the hardest time capturing good photos when it comes to jewelry. Hopefully one of these days I can post great pics that do them justice!

Fun With Alie

My Sister Allison wanted to treat me to a night out to get a little break since I don't get them too often. Nate stayed with the kids and I went to Olathe by Alie. I had no idea where we were going; she planned the entire night. So we headed off and pulled up to a place that looked like a movie theatre. We get inside and I still had no idea where we were which made it that much more exciting! We were escorted to our seats, where there were beautiful tables everywhere and a big stage with a red curtain; so I knew it was some sort of show. We sat at our table and enjoyed ourselves to a gourmet buffet around the corner and then the show began. It was a comedy musical play starring one of the main actors from "Mash"; I forget his name but it was AMAZING!!! We laughed our butts off and enjoyed the great food! I had such a blast and can't thank you enough Alie!! I will always remember that! After we rented a movie and went back to Alie's to relax and watch the movie, along with all our goodies! The next day she took me shopping; it was so fun and so nice to have one on one Sister time. I only took a few pics; we were having so much fun that I slacked on taking more pics. Thanks again Alie, your the best!!! I love you!

My Sister Melissa, her kids and fiance came from Michigan to visit for a few days. It was so awesome to see them!! I felt bad for Braxton because he was sick the entire time. He came down with the flu and got an ear infection in both ears. I got him on antibiotics and he's now feeling better.

We suprised Melissa with a diaper cake that Alie made, cake, pizza and I made roses made out of baby socks. She seemed to really enjoy it. We played scattegories too; it was super fun!!

After Church, Greg treated us all to Ihop; it was so nice of him and a total blast!

Valentine's Day 2011

Valentine's Day morning; Alie and I suprised all the kids with heart shaped pancakes and gifts. They loved it so much and it was yummy!!! My Mom and Scott stayed the night there too and spent Valentine's with us; it was really fun!!!

Tylar's 4TH Birthday

Tylar was so excited about her Birthday to finally be here. I can't believe it's already been 4 years! Time flies! But she will always be my little baby princess!! I painted her toes & nails however she'd liked. She watched all her favorite t.v. shows and we did some crafts of course! We were waiting to celebrate as soon as Daddy got home from work.

I made her this dress, so she wanted to put it on and model!!! Such a girlie girl! I love it!

Daddy came home and we had all her gifts set out along with her chocolate cake I made.

She got a lot of winter clothes, which she really needed with it being so dang cold here! She got some dolls, doll furniture and a horse Daddy picked out, so cute! She loved them all!!

She also got a huge bubble wand, since she loves bubbles so much!

More clothes! She was already planning her outfit for the next day!!!

The pink horse from Dad and Braxton drew her a cute picture of a puppy at School that day!! Such a thoughtful boy! This day was so great; they actually didn't fight for once. Braxton understood it was her Birthday and was so nice to her! It was awesome!!

Gifts from Auntie Mia. She got Tylar 2 pairs of cute jeans, 1 skinny and 1 boot cut, a long sleeve pink shirt, a white fluffy fur coat, pink sparkly hat and mittens and 2 pairs of boots!!! Tylar wanted to put all her new clothes on right away and take pictures. When she put on the white coat from Auntie Mia, she kept kissing the shoulder of the coat saying, "I can't believe Auntie Mia got me this, she's so nice!!" It had us all laughing; she said it so many times as she was trying it all on. She obviously LOVED it all! Thank you again Melissa; very kind & thoughtful!!

Okay, I used to tell Tylar how to pose before I'd take a picture; well as you can see, now she just does her thing without me saying anything! As soon as I hold up the camera, she's posing! Okay Dad, especially to you; now I'm not the only one you can give crap to about posing! Lol!! Like Mother, like Daughter!!!

Also Auntie Jessy is treating Tylar to her choice of ANYTHING when she sees her next. I know Tylar's looking forward to it! Thank you to everyone for the gifts and beautiful Birthday wishes!!!!!

Christmas 2010

For Christmas Eve, we hung out at my sister Allison's house and had a nice big meal. That day we took the kids to go see Santa and they played games and made a lost to Santa. They had a blast! As soon as Nate was off work, we headed home. The kids fell asleep on the way. Nate and I set out all the gifts under the tree. Christmas morning they were up at 5:00 yelling "Santa came!" We told them to go back to sleep for a Little bit. So we all got back up at 7 and Tylar never went back to sleep. She was playing nice and quietly in her room with her barbies; it was so cute! The kids ran to the tree and started making the piles for each person. They took turns watching each other open gifts. It was really a great Christmas; the joy and excitement in my kids faces makes everything worth it and is just so rewarding!

Alie and I went to the fork and screen movie theatre; it was my first time and I absolutely loved it! Thanks again Alie! The other pictures are of Tylar at her preschool that she goes to every Tuesday. She is always asking to go; she loves it so much!

Allison and her boys came over a day before Thanksgiving to celebrate since the guys were working so much. We had a lot of fun in the kitchen together cooking up a storm while all the Cousins played.

We took a trip back to Arizona to visit our family there and meet my new Niece Tinley. We also had to get a uhaul for our stuff to move to Kansas. It was so much fun and great to meet my little Niece; she is so beautiful and such a great baby! I was ecstatic to see Tayson and my baby Talon, who I am extremely close to; boy did I miss them; and of course Mike and my little Sister Jessica!! We spent a week and a half there. We were there on my Birthday, which was totally awesome because my Dad and Robin came over. It was awesome to see them; I missed them so much!!

Jess, the kids and I went to a Park and met up with a few of our girl friends; Leah, Kim, Taryn and Tara.

Mike, Jess, Nate and I got a Babysitter and went to the Concert "Pepper." I had never really been to a stand up Concert like that before; it was so much fun and they sounded just as good live. Key West And Cozumel Cruise October 2010

Nate hit the incentive to get so many sales with his job: he won the Cruise Ship vacation for us. We went to Key West Florida and Cozumel Mexico on the Carnival Destiny from October 28th to November 2nd. We flew out of Kansas that morning at 5:55 am; so we were up at 3 am!! The picture above was us on the airplane; we were so excited to go so it wasn't too hard waking up so early.

We finally got to the Miami Port around 2 pm. There was a shuttle waiting for us at the airport for the whole Northstar gang. It was really nice; they had everything set up so organized for us all.

When we first got on the ship, we ate right away, we were so hungry! Then we went and got the itinerary for the day, then went and waived bye at the top of the ship and then went and browsed around and ate more!

Well we slept longer then we intended and woke up at 2 am. We walked around the ship for a while, ate more food, then went back to bed. We woke back up at 5:30 and arrived in Key west around 7.

When we got off the ship in Key West, we took a trolley to down town where we just walked around and explored by ourselves. It is so beautiful there!! I guess we came to Key West when Fantasy Fest was going on; I guess they do it every year around Halloween. We had no idea until we walked down this busy street and started seeing older ladies with their girls hanging out and some with no shirts on with just body paint! We couldn't believe our eyes and were in shock! We thought the people there always dressed or should I say "undressed" like that, until we found out it was Fantasy Fest weekend. It was crazy but gave us a good laugh that's for sure! We went to all the cute shops there and got some cute souvenirs for the kids.

We went to the Key West Butterfly exhibit. It was so cool! They say if a Butterfly lands on you in there, it's good luck. I guess I have good luck coming my way cause I had 2 of them land on me!

That night after Key West was Formal Night. Nate and I were assigned a certain table and time for Dinner with the Northstar team but there was a comedy show we wanted to catch, so we got into Dinner earlier. It was awesome; we ended up getting a table all to ourselves; it was really romantic! Afterwards we caught our Comedy show and ended up staying for 3 shows! We had a blast and laughed our butts off!!

My Formal dress my Mom bought me for an early Birthday gift. Thanks again Mom! I LOVE it!!! I felt like a Queen that night in that dress!

The next day, we arrived in Cozumel. It was really cool to see how they live there and it made me very thankful for the life we have in the U.S!!

We went Snorkeling first thing when we got there. It was so cool seeing all the beautiful Fish. This was only my second time Snorkeling; I went out further here then I did my first time in Hawaii. It was cool until I went deep down to touch some Coral on a rock; when I came up, I didn't blow all the water out of my tube and I got some in my mouth. Then my flippers were too big, so I was curling my toes to keep them on, which threw off my kicking pattern. Then I looked up and noticed how far the water drifted us out! I started thinking of Sharks, which freaks me out! Getting in the Ocean is one of my greatest fears! I'm okay if I'm close to shore but any further freaks me out. So I started having a panic attack! Then I left Nate trying to get back to shore. I was doing something wrong because I completely lost my breath and was so tired. I almost yelled to some strangers for help; I didn't think I was gonna make it back. I just took a deep breath, started thinking positive and not about Sharks and told myself I could make it. It was the best feeling when my feet could touch the bottom!! I didn't go in again after that but until my little panic attack; it was amazing!!

Halloween night. We dressed up as matching Pirates. I couldn't stop laughing at Nate cause in 9 years, I've never seen him dressed up besides in a mask. It was so funny! This was our funnest night! Of course I missed the kids and wish the cruise was a different date but I knew they were in good hands with my Mom. I knew she was spoiling them and took them to 4 different Halloween parties.

My friend Christine tied the Costume contest with Jason, the owner of Northstar. It was a Contest between everyone on the ship; I thought it was so cool that they won it! She was dressed as a Sumo Wrestler and Jason was the Big Bad Wolf. Great costumes you two!!!

We took pictures with random people dressed up and we had a lot of strangers asking to get pictures with us. It was really fun! We went Dancing again and ate so much! Our favorite was the Sushi! A few times a day, we couldn't get enough!! That next morning, the ship was back in Miami. Our flight wasn't til 7 pm so we checked in our bags and took a cab with some friends to the closest Mall. We enjoyed lunch at Buffalo Wild Wings, played games at D&B's and browsed around. We got back into Kansas at midnight. We were so exhausted and ready to see the kids! It was so much fun and a vacation I will NEVER forget! Thanks Northstar,Thanks Alie for helping Mom with the kids and getting us to the airport and back, Thanks Mom and Scott for watching the kids and Thank You Babe for making this all possible by doing great at work to earn this trip!!!!

Halloween 2010

Nate and I were gone on a Cruise during Halloween but my Mom made sure the kids had a blast. She took them to 4 different parties and trick or treating. The kids played lots of games and won a lot of treats and prizes. Halloween night, they went trick or treating with their Auntie Alie, Grandma Wendy and their Cousins, Ricky, Ryan and Reece. They all looked so cute! Braxton was a Transformer "Bumble Bee" and Tylar was a Ladybug. We missed them so much but I knew they had a ball!!!!! Thanks again you guys for giving them a great Halloween!!!

My Sister Allison, Nate and I went out and had a blast together!!! As you can see, Nate finally finished work for the Summer, he got here a couple weeks ago. It's so nice to be a family again. We didn't see him for 2 months, so the kids and I are so excited to have him back!!!

Nate and Braxton went fishing all day and caught about 20 fish! Braxton absolutely loved it!!!

I've been so busy making a lot of jewelry and other crafts lately for this arts and crafts festival. Well I finally got to experience my first one this last weekend. This is something I've been wanting to get into for a while. It had about 30,000 people that attended. It went pretty good! Allison and I made a bunch of Holiday Wreaths to sell. I also made the baby wipe cases and of course my jewelry. I was all by myself on Saturday cause Alie had to work but I had Tylar's help. We were there for 9 hours and I couldn't believe how great Tylar was, stuck in this booth all day; I was so amazed!! Sunday, Alie helped me, so I got to go look around and take breaks; it was really nice to have her there!

I've been slacking on posting lately but he started School almost 2 months ago; I just haven't had a lot of extra time to keep up on my pictures but now that the craft show is over, I think I'll be back to posting more often. My sister Melissa and her kids stopped in Kansas for 5 days to visit. It had been 5 months too long since I'd seen them last! It was so fun! My sister Allison who lives in Kansas, came and visited. She's only an hour away; we also went to her place and hung out. I love spending time with my sisters; were all really close. It just was sad we were missing the baby sis Jessica! We love you Jess and were thinking of you the entire time and talked about how we wish you were there with us!

I hosted a craft party where I showed all the girls how to make bows. We made hair clips, earrings, and bracelets. It was so fun and all the girls caught on fast and did such a grest job!

The Northstar Wives

My friend Christine hosted a party where we all brought either a desserrt or entre. I brought Vanilla custard. We all enjoyed eachothers food and exchanged recipes. Christine did a demonstration on how to make spring rolls; she did reat and not to mention, they were fabulous! It was such a blast!

Nate's Dad is out here working for the same company.It's so nice to have him around since we don't see him as much as we'd like before he started this job. He comes over for Dinner almost every night which makes cooking funner for me since I have somebody else to try to impress! Lol! He takes the kids to church every Sunday and boy do the kids love it! They talk about it all week and how they wish it were Sunday to go with Grandpa; it's so cute! After church they go to Mcdonald's every time. It's like their Sunday tradition now. I love it cause it's a day date for Nate and I for about 4 hours every Sunday, it's really nice and I always look forward to it!

Nate and I went on a date last night to the movies. We saw "The Killers" it was really cute! Jess and Mike watched the kids. Thanks again you guys! We had a blast. I love date nights!

Charlotte North Carolina

We finally left Little Rock to our new destination in Charlotte NC. We stopped in Nashville TN and got a hotel for the night. We went to a cool mexican restraunt and enjoyed relaxing and just watching tv. The next morning we headed out, drove another 6 hours and finally made it. I love our apartment, it's by far the nicest one yet and Charlotte seems pretty cool so far!

Jess and I went and saw Eclipse. I loved it and it was for sure my favorite one so far! Then I took the kids to go see how to train your dragon. What a cute movie; one I definately want to buy when it comes out on dvd. Tylar was a little whiney and asked a few times to go home so I had to intrigue her with the movie and talk to her what she thought would happen. It kept her occupied and we enjoyed it!

The 4th of July Northstar had a get together at the pool where they barbequed, played volleyball, tossing balls around and everyone hangin out chattin. It was a great way for Jess and I to meet all the new wives out here, which by the way there's about 16 including us. They are all so nice and super cool! Were really excited since it was just Jess and I in LR and now we have a bunch of girls to hang out with. They are always sending texts of everything goin on. I really look forward to all the new things to do and the girl get togethers!

The Northstar Wives

Nate, the kids and I went down town later to watch the fireworks show, it was really fun but of course overly crowded and chaotic but well worth it.

The kids and I have been going to the pool a lot lately, they love it so much! One time we went with Sarah, one of the wives out here and her kids that are the same age as mine. Braxton made a couple new friends already and is super stoked about it.

Some of us girls got together and went to this cool place called Dan Nicholas Park. It was over an hour away from Charlotte but well worth it. It had paddle boats, carousel rides,a petting barn, spray pads, gem mine and lots more. It was one of the coolest kid friendly places I've been to in a while; we all had such a blast!!!!

Kim and her daughter went on together, Christine, Jess and her kids on another and my kids and I on one. It was probably my favorite but wow what a leg work out or I'm just really out of shape! Lol

Braxton helped me paddle most of the time and Tylar was doing some steering, team work!

The Petting Barn

The Carousel ride. I think this one was Tylar's favorite! She went on with Christine who she really likes a lot. It was so cute. Braxton felt like such a big boy going on his own pet with out an adult. They loved it!

We went to this Gem Mine where you buy a bucket of dirt and then you sift through it in the water. This was definately Braxton's favorite since he loves rocks so much. They both ended up with a descent bag of rocks and gems that were all sorts of colors. Awesome place!!

Braxton and I had a Mother and Son night. We went to Sonic and got Sundaes. Then we went home and watched a movie and he slept with me in my bed. It was so fun!

I took the kids to PF Changs for Dinner. It was so yummy and such a blast!

On Father's Day, we went to Burns Park. Mike and Nate took the boys Frisbee Golfing. Jess, Tylar, Talon and I hung out by the Park and waited for them.

After Burns Park, we went to Chuck E Cheese. We ordered Pizza and played games for quite some time. The kids were in heaven and totally pooped out when we got home.

Jess and I took the kids to Peabody Park where they have a waterfall, spray pads, under ground tunnels and slides. We also went there last year and the kids definitely remembered the place, they LOVE it!!

Kansas Trip

Jess, the kids and I went to Kansas this last week to go visit our Sister Allison and our Mom and Scott. It was so much fun, a part of me didn't wanna go back to Little Rock and just stay there with them but another part of me wanted to get back to be with my hubby. I helped my Mom and Scott at their new Greenhouse/Marketplace/Bistro that has only been open for 3 weeks and is doing awesome so far. I was a Server from 11-3 then helped organize and decorate. I always love doing that stuff and to be able to help my Mom and make her proud; makes me so happy I can do that for her. It brought back memories of my serving days and it felt great! I wish they lived near by, I swear I would wanna work a lot more; that place is so awsome and not to mention, working for my Mom, fun!! The kids kept so busy catching Frogs in their little pond all day and also helped bus tables; it was too cute! We stayed at Allison's every night so we could all hang out together. There were 7 kids in the house, so it was a litle crazy but super fun!!

We celebrated Ryan's 6th Birthday. Allison threw a Froggy theme party for him since he's such a fan. She had cute froggy treat bags and cups for the kids with lots of party favors! We played lots of games like Simon Says, Catch, Races, Ball Toss in the bowl and the kids danced.

We got a personal tour at the Firestation; Braxton really wanted to go. The Fire Truck were next to is actually in the movie "Swat" towards the end, in the scene on the bridge.It was so cool! I got to put on the Fireman's coat and WOW that thing was so heavy, so was the helmet!

Of course Alie spoiles her cause she has 3 boys so every time she's around Tylar, she buys her girly things, paints her nails and does her hair; then she'll bring her places to show her off. It's so freakin cute!

We had a Sister's night while my Mom stayed with all the kids; props to her, 7 hyper kids, 2 of them babies! She put on a puppet show for them, told them bedtime stories and so on. She definately kept them all entertained and did great! We went out to a Restraunt that also had karoake; it was a blast!!! Alie also took us the next day to her work, where we had the entire place to ourselves. Alie did our hair and of course it turned out beautiful as she always does! Thank you again Alie!

We went to the pool the other day and Tylar swam around in her floatie all around the pool by herself which was really cute cause it was the first time she did that in a big pool in the deep end! It scared me and made me super nervous but I knew it was good for her to do it by herself without me by her side; so I just stood by the pool and walked around it everywhere she paddled to. Braxton was bouncing around everywhere making new friends like he always does. I swear no matter where we go, that little social bug makes friends with every kid around! He definately takes after his Daddy! Sunday Nate and Braxton had their "boys time" and Tylar and I had "girls time." We went outside and picked out rocks and sticks; we went back home and made Ladybugs out of them. Tylar LOVED it and keeps asking me every day to make a bug with the rocks. Nate and Braxton went to the pond and then on a bike ride. Braxton is such a Daddy's boy and loves doing anything with Daddy no matter what it is! Too cute!

The kids and I went to the State Capitol yesterday; it was so beautiful and really fun. Braxton understood some of it; he liked the court rooms and his favorite was looking at the rocks they had there and of course tylar had no clue what was going on but she was enjoying it anyway going up and down all the stairs and looking at pictures.

Nate and I had a date night last Saturday, we went to Big Mama's Burgers where they had karoake; it was really fun watching all the people get up there and sing, most of them were really good! The food wasn't the greatest but we had a lot of fun hanging out together!

I took the kids to the park the other day; they had a little pond there where we caught some tadpoles and brought them home, it was really fun. It brought back child hood memories when my sisters and I use to catch Frogs by my Grandma's house all the time; it was one of my favorite things to do as a kid and I still love it!

Jessica, the kids and I all went to Barnes and Noble the other day and did story time for the kids for quite some time. I think they really enjoyed it but it was hard to keep them all quiet in there.

The Boy's Birthday's

After we got here to Little Rock, we had a little family party for Braxton; I made him a Sports Cake and he loved that he got two parties! His Grandma, Me Me bought him his first real big boy Bike for his Birthday present, without training wheels. After we got it, Jessica and I went outside to teach him do it by himself. Jess kept telling me to just push him and let go; I was so afraid he would biff it hard! She got Tayson's helmet, put it on him and pushed him and let go! What do ya know, she was right! He went on riding by himself, it was so awesome!Tthen that next morning before Nate had to leave to work, he went out with him and helped him more; Braxton caught on so fast and loves it so much! Thanks again Me Me, he loves his new Bike!! Also Grandma Wendy and Grandpa Scott sent Braxton Birthday money and he was really excited about it; we went right over to the Dollar Store (his favorite) and he picked out a lot of toys! Thank you Grandma and Grandpa!

Nate's 29th Birthday was on the 15th, just 3 days after Braxton's. After he got off work, we went out to this Tppanyaki Place and sat at the hibachi table. We ordered Sushi (our favorite), Lobster and Shrimp, it was so good!! Mike and Jess treated us which was so so nice of him to do that! Thank you so much you guys, your so awesome! It was a lot of fun! After we got home, I was ready for bed and Nate was still wanting to go out; so we ended up going to watch a live band which were way awesome! It was so much fun and I'm so glad we went out; it was our first date in quite some time! I think he really enjoyed his Birthday.

Road Trip to Little Rock

So I had been anticipating going to Little Rock ever since Nate left but I had to wait for Braxton to finish School, well most of it anyway, he only missed 2 weeks. So finally it was time and I was so excited, I got the car all packed a couple days before we had to leave! Tuesday the 11th, we left at 7 A.M. We got 25 miles past Flagstaff and couldn't believe it, the entire I 40 E was blocked off due to strong winds and trucks were all tipped over. It was so frustrating cause there were no signs before hand warning the road was closed off. So every car and semi truck were all pulled over to the side of the road. We had to turn around and go back to Flagstaff cause it was the closest town. When I got there, I asked around for info and was told the road was suppose to open back up at 7 P.M. or until the wind calmed down. The kids and I ended up hanging out in the car for 3 hours outside of a gas station! Finally I couldn't stand it anymore and knew there was a big chance it might not even open up at 7, so we ended up getting a hotel room. I was so frustrated because I was planning on driving all day so we could get to Little Rock the next day on Braxton's Birthday and now we had only drove 3 hours and then ended up in a Hotel!! We went to bed at 8 and got up at 4 A.M. and hit the road at 4:30. Yeah, the road was opened up! I was told it opened back up at 8 last night but then there was an accident and closed down again and opened back up at 4 this morning, so it was perfect timing. There were tons of Tornados throughout Texas, Oklahoma and Arkansas. I was lucky to miss all of them including the storms, thanks to my Cousin Chad and my Aunty Cindy who called and texted me the entire way giving me updates on the weather. She told me to just keep driving so I would miss all the bad weather cause I guess it was all behind me; so I kept driving and before I knew it, I was only 190 miles from Little Rock; I figured I might as well finish it off and get there when I wanted to in the first place, so I did and ended up driving 19 hours in a day! My biggest driving accomplishment yet! but we made it and seriously, I was so dizzy and the ground was moving when I got out of the car, I couldn't even stand! I got good rest that night and was just so happy to have finally made it and be together as a family again!!

Braxton's 6TH Birthday

On Monday the 10th; we went over to my Dad and Robin's to celebrate Braxton's Birthday. It was set up so cute; they had the doorbell set as the Birthday song, balloons everywhere and had a cute chocolate cake for him with his name on it. They grilled yummy burgers for us all and then we had Cake. They got him a hand held video game that hes been wanting for a while, a sketch and shake game, coloring books and crayons. It was all so perfect for our road trip to Little Rock that next morning; Braxton and Tylar played with those games and colored most of the way; it kept them really occupied which was great for me! Thank you again Dad and Robin, that was so thoughtful and really nice.

My Dad came to Chandler from Scottsdale to treat us to lunch at Chilis. It was so fun and I always love seeing him! He brought a couple gifts for the kids which was very thoughtful. Thanks again Dad! The bottom middle picture is Braxton's last day of School; that is his teacher Ms. Falson; she was so sad to see him leave!

Tylar and I went to a little Pettin Zoo when Braxton was at School. They had a Camel, Ostriches, Zebras, Horses, Pigs, Goats and more. Tylar was having so much fun petting the Goats and feeding the Horse.
